The best time to schedule is during your active season when you have access to your uniform and equipment. Book at least 2-3 weeks in advance to ensure we can coordinate around your practice and game schedule.
Bring your uniform(s), all relevant equipment, and any team gear you’d like to include. Multiple jerseys (home/away) can create variety in your photos. Don’t forget things like letterman jackets or awards if you’d like to incorporate them.
We can shoot at your home field, court, or athletic facility. I also have access to several locations that provide dramatic backdrops for athletic portraits while still highlighting your sport.
Sports sessions typically last 90 minutes, giving us time to capture both action shots and posed portraits with different equipment and poses.
Yes! While individual sessions are most common, you can coordinate with teammates for group shots or even split a session with a fellow athlete.
I have professional lighting equipment specifically for indoor sports photography, allowing us to create dramatic portraits even in challenging gym lighting conditions.
I use specialized equipment and techniques to freeze motion and capture key moments. We’ll combine posed action shots with traditional portraits to showcase your athletic abilities.
Come in your full uniform with any alternate jerseys or practice gear you’d like to include. Bring athletic shoes appropriate for your sport and any protective equipment you typically use.
While these sessions focus on individual portraits and posed action shots, I can also be hired separately for game coverage and action photography.
Based in Montrose, I primarily photograph in Western Colorado, including Telluride and the surrounding San Juan Mountain region. I’m happy to travel to your preferred location within this area.
