Julien can do it all!  Julien’s patience, expertise, wardrobe color advice, and couple positioning for that perfect photo was on point.

Julien also has an off-roading vehicle which allowed for us to go to the perfect mountainous spot for our photos.

What's included in your wedding photography packages?

My wedding photography packages include full-day coverage, professional editing of all images, an online gallery for easy sharing, and high-resolution downloads of your photos. Depending on the package, you’ll also receive engagement session options, second shooter coverage, and rushed delivery timelines. I customize each package to fit your specific needs and vision.

How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?

I recommend booking 6-12 months in advance, especially for peak wedding season (June through October) in Colorado. Popular dates and locations fill up quickly, and early booking ensures we have plenty of time to plan your engagement session and discuss your wedding day timeline in detail.

Do you travel for destination weddings?

Absolutely! While I regularly photograph weddings throughout Telluride, Ouray, Crested Butte, Montrose, and Grand Junction, I also love destination weddings and am available to travel anywhere your love story takes you. Travel fees vary depending on location and duration.

How many photos will we receive from our wedding day?

You can expect to receive 75-100 professionally edited photos per hour of coverage. For a typical 8-hour wedding day, that’s usually 600-800 final images. I focus on quality over quantity, delivering only the best shots that truly capture your day’s most meaningful moments.

When will we receive our wedding photos?

I typically deliver a sneak peek gallery with 15-20 images within 48 hours of your wedding day. Your complete gallery of professionally edited photos is usually ready within 4-6 weeks. Rush delivery options are available for an additional fee if you need your photos sooner.

Do you offer engagement sessions?

Yes! Engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other before your wedding day and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. I know all the best locations in Western Colorado for stunning engagement photos, and we can time the session for golden hour lighting among the mountains.

Can we see full wedding galleries from your previous work?

Absolutely! I’m happy to share complete wedding galleries with you during our consultation so you can see the full scope of how I document a wedding day. This gives you a better sense of my style, consistency, and approach to storytelling throughout an entire celebration.

Do you provide raw, unedited photos?

I don’t provide raw files as part of my standard packages. The editing process is where much of the artistry happens – it’s how I create the cohesive, polished look that defines my style. All delivered images are professionally edited and ready to print, share, and treasure for a lifetime.

What if it rains on our wedding day?

Colorado mountain weather can be unpredictable, but rain doesn’t have to ruin your photos! I always come prepared with backup plans and creative solutions. Some of my most dramatic and romantic images have been captured during unexpected weather. We’ll work together to embrace whatever Mother Nature brings and create something beautiful.

Do you have experience with different types of wedding ceremonies?

Yes! I’ve had the privilege of photographing a wide variety of wedding ceremonies, from traditional church weddings and outdoor mountain ceremonies to intimate elopements and cultural celebrations. I’m experienced in working with different religious and cultural traditions, understanding the important moments to capture while being respectful of sacred rituals.
